TRANSWESTERN ROLE
John Bell serves as Senior Managing Director of Transwestern’s Southeast Investment Sales Team and National CMBS & Lender Team, focused on office, medical office, retail, multifamily, industrial, student housing and development site sales, note sales, joint ventures, equity raises and financing.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
John has executed real estate transactions across all asset types, with a primary focus in the Southeast US and Florida markets. His expertise encompasses trophy and distressed assets, and he has an impressive roster of clients, including special servicers, institutional and private debt funds, lenders, and a range of institutional and private clients. His team has consistently been among the top producers in his respective firms, and he has been actively involved in capital markets leadership.
Prior to joining Transwestern, John served as Managing Director – Head of Southeast Region for Rockwood Real Estate Advisors. He was an Executive Vice President and Principal of Trammell Crow, where he served as the head of the South Florida Investment Sales department, and post-merger, was an Executive Vice President with CBRE. John was a Senior Director at Cushman & Wakefield, where he focused on investment sales as well as valuation and consulting services for a wide range of institutional clients, insurance companies, pension funds and lending institutions.

John is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Florida. He is an active member of the CRE Finance Council (CREFC) and earned the Appraisal Institute MAI designation. John has received the following recognitions:
