Chris Thompson serves as a Senior Associate specializing in Agency Leasing, Tenant Advisory and Workplace Solutions throughout Southern California and Central Texas. Splitting his time between both markets, Chris is deeply immersed in and well-versed in the nuances of real estate in Southern California and Texas, allowing him to provide clients with informed, on-the-ground advisory and transaction expertise in each region. He brings a tenacious and results-driven approach focused on maximizing organizational flexibility and financial success for his clients' real estate portfolios. Chris has successfully completed over 200 transactions representing tenants, landlords, buyers, and sellers, totaling more than 500,000 square feet and exceeding $50 million in aggregate value.

Prior to joining Transwestern in 2021, Chris began his commercial real estate career with Global Commercial Properties in San Jose, California, where he gained valuable experience representing tenants on their office leases and acquisitions in one of the most competitive markets in the country, Silicon Valley. He holds dual real estate licenses for both California and Texas and continues to serve longtime clients in both states. Chris’s expertise centers on representing primarily office tenants and landlords, with a deep understanding of the evolving office market both nationally and locally. He is skilled at navigating complex lease and purchase negotiations, drafting real estate documents, and providing strategic guidance tailored to the unique needs of office users and owners.
