Biography
TRANSWESTERN ROLE
Paula is a member of Transwestern’s Houston retail team, where she oversees marketing, research, and leasing initiatives for the properties and tenants she represents. Her responsibilities include analyzing competing properties, cultivating prospective tenants, negotiating lease agreements, and securing new assignments to maximize value for ownership. In addition, she actively represents tenants in their site selection and expansion efforts, with clients including JD Sports, Amorino Gelato, Café Feuillette, HRGI, Houston MRI, and others.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Paula joined Transwestern in the summer of 2015 and focuses on all facets of retail leasing, with a specialty in mixed-use landlord representation. She brings office, medical, and retail experience and currently leases over 1 million square feet of retail in mixed-use projects across Houston and Fort Worth. These projects include The GRID, Park Eight, The RO, Shops at Arrive River Oaks, Shops at Arrive Upper Kirby, and Merrimac.
PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATION / RECOGNITION
Paula holds a Texas Real Estate License and has been involved in NAIOP, CREMM, and CREW. She is a former co-president of Transwestern Young Professionals and has received multiple awards, including the CREW Leadership Summit Scholarship (2017), the Transwestern Impact Award (2017), the Transwestern Rising Star Award (2019), and the Transwestern National Recognition President’s Award (2019). She was formerly active in raising funds and volunteering for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society between 2016 and 2020 and currently serves as co-chair of the 2025 Houston Habitat for Humanity luncheon. Outside of work, Paula pursues her passion for art through classes at the Glassell School of Art, contributes to her family’s business, Brookstreet BBQ, and is actively involved at AGOC.
EDUCATION
Paula earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship and Finance, graduating Magna Cum Laude from the C.T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston. She also continues her professional development through coursework at Georgetown University.
