Biography

TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Blake serves as Chief Operating Officer, Healthcare Advisory Services, providing strategic leadership for the healthcare and life sciences activities of Transwestern Real Estate Services. He also directs the acquisition, development, and asset management of healthcare property investments across the United States in close coordination with Transwestern Investment Group and Transwestern Development Company.   

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Prior to joining Transwestern in 2017, Blake spent 15 years with a global real estate firm acquiring, managing, and selling commercial property investments in U.S. and international markets on behalf of private and institutional clients. He also was a founding partner of a private venture focused on healthcare real estate investments. His experience includes establishing and executing value add and core strategies over assets totaling 17.5 million square feet and valued at over $4 billion. Blake serves on the operating fund Investment Committee of Memorial Hermann Health System in Houston, the Board of Directors of NAIOP Houston, and is engaged in leadership of several charitable organizations.

EDUCATION

Blake received a BBA from Texas Christian University and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
