TRANSWESTERN ROLE

As Managing Director and NorCal Market Leader, Ken directs the operations of the firm’s San Francisco Bay area offices, collaborating with colleagues to anticipate the needs of the firm’s clients for brokerage, asset services, investment and development services in the dynamic markets of San Francisco, Oakland and Silicon Valley. He identifies opportunities for growth that are aligned with Transwestern’s broad transformation plan designed to drive revenue, increase market share and expand investor and client relationships.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Ken joined Transwestern in 2020 after a more than 40-year tenure with Colliers International, where he held a variety of roles of increasing responsibility. As a producer, Ken represented landlords, tenants, buyers and sellers throughout the region with a primary focus on the Oakland Metropolitan Market. He started in the Colliers Pleasanton office in 1987 and subsequently opened and managed the Oakland office in 1997, growing that group to over 50 producers and team members.

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATION / RECOGNITION

Raised in the Bay area, Ken is a licensed real estate broker in the state of California and a member of NAIOP.

EDUCATION

Ken earned a bachelor’s degree at UC Berkeley and an MBA at Golden Gate University. He played varsity rugby at Cal and was a two-time collegiate national champion and three-time club champion. He enjoys watching local rugby and coached at the high school level for several years.
