TRANSWESTERN ROLE
Myrna Coronado-Brookover serves as the General Manager of 77 West Wacker Drive, where she leads the building’s management team with expertise and strategic oversight. In this role, she supports a wide range of operational functions including capital improvements, tenant construction, financial management, service contract negotiations, and resolution of building and tenant-related matters. Myrna also acts as a key liaison between the property’s ownership and Transwestern, ensuring alignment with ownership goals and guiding on-site staff in achieving those objectives.

Myrna Coronado-Brookover has led the management of the 960,000-square-foot 77 West Wacker Drive for over 20 years, transforming it into one of Chicago’s premier office buildings. A recognized leader in smart building innovation, she has overseen major upgrades including amenity enhancements, advanced elevator systems, mechanical HVAC improvements, and AI-powered security solutions.
She played a key role in launching TranswesternHub and was instrumental in shaping Cohesion’s smart building platform—driving workflow design, product development, and implementation. With deep expertise across hardware and software systems, Myrna brings a unique perspective to tenant experience, security, operational efficiency, and technology integration.
She pioneered the deployment of touchless elevator call functionality, seamlessly integrating Kone elevators, Lenel access control, and Blue Diamond readers—setting a new benchmark for secure and intuitive building operations. Known for simplifying complex systems, she introduced the “Rose test,” a usability standard ensuring that any interface too complicated for the average user is redesigned for clarity and adoption.
